Greetings to all of my friends ,fellow musicians , artists and all creative’s
Like the Nike slogan “Just Do IT” the time is now to start blogging.
It is a special time in the desert. The oven is turning on slowly. It is so beautiful early in the morning and in the evening. It is the perfect time to play flute outdoors.
I find it most enjoyable before the sun comes up and for the first hour or 2 of the morning and then again in the late afternoon or evening when the intense sun is not an issue. It is all good.
To play nursery rhymes in all of the tonalities, different ideas and most of all enjoying the ride and having fun while swinging . I like to have fun and that carries over to playing music.
At this stage of the game I like to play what I enjoy while being musical. Just being aware of a couple little things like, keeping the fingers close to the keys while playing and playing slowly.
No need to rush anything. Tasting each note… Hmm… playing ideas backwards to see what they sound like… Having fun gets it…
